About Us
Our Story
The name ‘HapCo.farm‘ is a composition of ‘happy’ and ‘cow’, which reflects the vision behind the concept. It’s a management concept for dairy farms, based on the view that a livestock farm simply works better when the animals are physically and mentally healthy. The concept takes a number of physiological and ethological needs of dairy cattle into account, such as adequate rest, custom cubicles in a freestall and sufficient exercise. These aspects are integrated into a realizable and profitable corporate structure. The main focus of this concept is the use of small production groups and the intensive survey of the animals.
Our farm
Animal health

Animal welfare

HapCo.farm is the result of an exercise on how to link animal welfare, carbon footprint and economics.
People – Planet – Profit

The HapCo.farm concept has respect for religion and culture of the labour forces and the local population.
Economics

The extra costs for animal welfare are financed by processing milk inhouse and short chain sales.
